Today I thought I would go ahead, and share my summer skincare routine. These are my summer skincare essentials that I can’t go without.
Cleansing Oil & Skin Scrubber: The first step I do. I grab my favorite face oil, it could be argan oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or whatever you prefer. I put the skin scrubber device on the setting “cleansing”.
Then, I glide the tool on my face. Not pressing into my skin too hard just a slight pressure to help draw out the toxins in my skin. You will start to see all the toxins on the edge of the spatula. Wipe away the extra oil off with a wipe or tissue. Do not use this spatula on dry skin it will irritate you and cause unwanted bumps and irritation. Always make sure to use on wet or oiled skin.
Continue repeating these steps until you notice there is little to no toxins coming out of your skin. I do this about 5 times a week.
I like to massage this cleanser on my face for about 45 seconds to give the lemon a chance to lighten my spots on my face. Then, I rinse my face with warm water to cold water. I don’t like to wash my face with hot water because it can make your skin red, and irritated.
Facial Moisturizer: I add this St. Ives Watermelon Glowing Oil-Free Face Moisturizer – 1.8oz at Target to my skin to finish my routine. I love this facial moisturizer because of how hydrating it is, and how it leaves you with a beautiful glow. Watermelon has many benefits for your skin. It can calm skin inflammation, the watermelon seeds help boost collagen in your skin, and it contains vitamin E which rejuvenates your skin.
Sunscreen: Lastly, I apply sunscreen my favorite sunscreen is the Coppertone Pure and Simple Botanicals Faces Sunscreen Lotion- SPF 50 – 2oz at Target. This is a lightweight sunscreen that has a ghostly look at first till you rub it into your skin. I love that it is 100% derived from botanicals.
It has Tea leaf which helps with skin inflammation, anti-aging, and has antioxidants. This helps keep your skin healthy with a radiant glow. It has sea kelp is a mineral that has antioxidants. These antioxidants help to remove toxins from your skin. It helps your skin to reduce breakouts, and helps your skin to retain moisture.
It has lotus extract when used on your skin can help with dry, rough, flaky skin. Lotus acts as a natural moisturizer, and it helps improve the texture of your skin. Lotus helps to balance your skin’s oil content, and helps with acne. I love that if I accidentally get too close to my eyes it doesn’t burn my eyes. It was 102° degrees where I live, and I didn’t have any problems.
This concludes my summer skincare routine. I hope you’ve found this post to be informative, and helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Stay safe, happy, and healthy. ❤️
